Royal Navy 1 to Helicopter Hellboy 2 – do you hear me? Probably not …copy that…

London police have launched an investigation into allegations that people associated with one of Prince Charles’s charities offered to help a Saudi billionaire secure honours and citizenship in return for donations. Seems like the royals are rather particale to paying millions of dollars to charities, even for a no win, no blame senario. The Queen must be pulling her hair out! What happens when these idiot boys run the Coo Coo Farm.

Key points:

  • The Metropolitan Police launched the investigation following a series of media reports
  • The reports claim an aide to Prince Charles helped secure his support for a Saudi citizen to receive a knighthood and British citizenship
  • Prince Charles’ office, Clarence House, said there was no evidence to back up the claims

The investigation followed a series of stories in the Times of London, which reported that a long-time aide to Prince Charles helped to secure the prince’s support for a Saudi citizen to receive a knighthood and British citizenship in return for donations of as much as 1.5 million pounds ($2.83 million).

The Metropolitan Police Service said on Wednesday that it decided to open a formal investigation after assessing the media reports, reviewing the findings of an inquiry commissioned by the Prince’s Foundation and looking at documents provided by the foundation.

No one has been arrested yet, police said in a statement.

Prince Charles’s office, Clarence House, has of course said there was no evidence to back up the claims.
